I'd suggest going to see a different doctor. No reason not to get a second opinion. I'd start eating lots of fiber and perhaps using stool softeners or laxatives so your fissures can heal. I'd just start downing veggies all day, cut down on carbs and large amounts of animal protein. I think if you can stay on the softeners for a month as well as eating lots more fiber, you could have a chance to heal them... I'd still go get another opinion... can't hurt anyway. Good luck...
