Anal Fissures-What to do after all has been done?
After I had my son 5 and a half months ago, I got anal fissures and internal hemroids. I have been to 4 doctors and the hemroids have been healed but they can’t fix my fissures. The last doctor I went to told me that I was too young for the surgery or cutting the muscle down there. I have used all the prescription medicines and live in the bath tub. Has anyone heard anything NEW other then drinking gallons of water a day?
The pain is awful. While going to the restroom I fill the toilet with blood and after I can’t sit for 6 hours!
I’d suggest going to see a different doctor. No reason not to get a second opinion. I’d start eating lots of fiber and perhaps using stool softeners or laxatives so your fissures can heal. I’d just start downing veggies all day, cut down on carbs and large amounts of animal protein. I think if you can stay on the softeners for a month as well as eating lots more fiber, you could have a chance to heal them… I’d still go get another opinion… can’t hurt anyway. I have a hemorrhoid and i want to get rid of it?
I got (what i assume from looking at pictures) a hemorrhoid yesterday and i really want it gone. It is external and looks to be the size of a small raspberry. it hasn’t bled at all but it hurts a lot. How can i get rid of it without going to the doctor or buying a special cream? is there any cream in the house that i would already have to put on it to relieve the pain and itching and reduce its size?
also i have been sort of fingering my bum with savlon cream to try and ease the hemorrhoid in.. is savlon going to aid it?

When there is a blood clot formation with external hemorrhoids it results in what is called thrombosed hemorrhoid. The veins in the anus area get inflamed resulting in a lot of pain and itching. In the case of external piles, cleaning the area is also difficult after passing stools. In the case of internal hemorrhoids the veins inside the anal canal get inflamed.
Symptoms of thrombosed hemorrhoid are – pain in the rectum anus area, itching, formation of tender lumps near the anus, bleeding while passing stools, blood in the toilet tissue or in the toilet bowel. The bleeding happens due to the rupturing of the veins.
Pressure on the veins in the rectum and anus region increase due to factors like pregnancy, strain for passing stools, constipation, diarrhea etc. These are considered to be some of the main reasons for thrombosed hemorrhoids.

I have had Brazilian bikini waxes in the past and loved them. However, since then I have had a baby and the bonus gift of a hemorrhoid. Will the person doing it think it’s gross? Should I not get one? I like having the waxing done b/c I can’t get it as smooth when I shave.
