internal hemorrhoids go away

How long does it take for external hemmroids to go away?

In May I discovered that I had internal hemorrhoids and did all the things the doctor told me to do, but a few days ago I noticed (more like felt) that I had external hemorrhoids. I am taking the suppositories 2x a day and taking baths, but they seem to be getting worse and not better. Any ideas how long this lasts if your truly following doctors orders?
