internal hemorrhoids operation
Hemorrhoids is one of the most common diseases that can happen in any age group. It appears as small lumps that generally happen in the lower portion of the rectum as a result of swelling of the veins within the rectum. Hemorrhoids can normally happen inside the anus or rectum and can extend to the exterior at a later stage of the disease. As a result, this disease cannot be taken lightly and must be cured as soon as possible. However, it is possible to cure hemorrhoids at home, but in serious cases it is better that you seek medical guidance as well.
Though all types of hemorrhoids can be treated with oral medication and application of ointments, but at times hemorrhoid surgery is highly recommended. In fact, if you experience an abnormal pain and abnormally extreme growth of lumps then it is sensible to discuss with your physician on the possibilities of hemorrhoids surgery. Physicians generally recommend for hemorrhoids surgery only in situations where the hemorrhoid gets more painful and are likely to cause further difficulty. Hemorrhoids surgery is generally conducted only in the acute situation where there is no other medicinal option left. The key purpose of hemorrhoids surgery is to give you relief and to avoid the future possible complications as early as possible.
Today there are various types of methods used in surgery of disease like hemorrhoids. However, the most common methods that are used effectively these days are:
- Coagulation: This type of hemorrhoids is majorly conducted when the hemorrhoids are smaller in size and shape. This type of surgery primarily involves the burning procedure. In this burning procedure, the hemorrhoids gets burned with the help of electric current or infrared light.
- Hemroidectomy: This type of surgery is performed on those patients who are suffering from either of the internal or external hemorrhoids. During this form of surgery, the hemorrhoids are generally removed with the help of a laser or scalpel. Normally, this method is performed in itchy and more painful hemorrhoids. The major difference in this procedure in comparison to coagulation is that the healing might take a little longer time.
Apart from this, there is another type of surgery when the doctor removes the blood clots in the hemorrhoids just by puncturing them after applying local anesthesia. Though it is also considered as a surgery, but yet it is one of the major types of hemorrhoids surgery and can be performed as an outpatient operation. Adding to this, Injection therapy and Band Ligation are also other types of treatment that are also used to cure hemorrhoids, but they don’t closely involve hemorrhoids surgery.

hemorrhoid painful
Is it okay to exercise when you have a hemorrhoid?
Like jogging or going on the elliptical, or is it dangerous? Will it mess with the healing process? The hemorrhoid is protruding from the anus and it is very painful.
Exercising while suffering from hemorrhoids is safe, and exercising will help in healing your hemorrhoids BUT you need to choose the right exercises. Just remember to avoid: heavy lifting, straining, prolonged standing and sitting. We can say that as long as it does not add to anal pressure then its safe.

painful hemorrhoid relief
Pain following band ligation for hemorrhoids?
I have stage 2 – 3 hemorrhoids. I went to my doc on Friday and we’d discussed having the staple procedure. After the exam, the doc suggested we try band ligation. I reluctantly agreed.
As soon as the band went on I thought something might be wrong – it felt tight, and I thought I’d need to have a BM. I was told this was normal, was given a very limited list of instructions, and was sent on my way. As the weekend wore on the pain started to worsen, culminating in a phone call to the doc’s answering service at 6am on Sunday morning. I was able to meet one of his associates at the hospital who removed the band (one of the most painful experiences in my life). I was told I should expect relief immediately. It’s been almost 24 hours and I’m still in significant pain.
I’ve been taking sitz baths, tylenol, stool softners, and haven’t worked out in 3 days. Anything else I should/could be doing? I’m not terribly impressed with the aftercare suggestions from my doc… Thanks!
I would definitely recommend making an appointment with another physician in order to resolve the problem. As a form of prophylaxis I would highly recommend “colase” as the stool softener of choice. Hemorrhoids are very painful and I feel for you….keep the area clean and the sitz baths do help (can even add some salt to the water). Mitigating the pain however will likely require a prescription narcotic. It also depends whether they are exposed (thrombus) or internal…..but don’t worry even though it feels like you will die….you wont. I hope you find some relief and a physician that provides quality care.

fissures hemorrhoids
Blood on toilet paper, what does it mean?
This has happened before but I will ask anyway. Sometimes when I go to the bathroom I will notice a little bit of blood on my stools as well as the toilet paper. It’s not a lot, but enough to get my attention. I did a little research and I believe anal fissures may be to blame. The problem goes away within a few days. It happened again a couple days ago. Today when I went, there was no blood on my stools so I was a little relieved. However, I did notice some on the paper. Every hour or so I take a small piece and wipe, and a little blood shows up. There’s no pain involved and I can’t feel any hemorrhoids. It’s not a lot of blood, just spotty. Any suggestions or ideas?
For those who mentioned the cancer, I’m really discounting that. This is an external thing, meaning on the skin. I guess I should have said that in the first place. I think I irritated my skin from wiping so much. Thanks for all the comments so far.
Iam a medic. Sometimes if it is just a Lil blood in your stool, this may seem silly but without using a lot of awkward terms this is how to explain…. you know when you see those little ridged (Sharp) pieces of matter in your stool it sometimes can cut your butthole and when you wipe it pulls the scab of and it will bleed……..and usually it will clear up in a few days………..If it is a persistent bleed then it could be a more serious problem and you will need to go see you Doctor asap: some of those things can be fatal such as Lower GI bleed, or an upper GI Bleed (Ulcer) but the lower GI bleed it the most serious. OK don’t wipe every few hours all your doing is pulling the scab off, just leave it alone for a Lil bit.

abscess hemorrhoid
Any experience with a peri-rectal abscess?
Pain started over the weekend. Thought it was a hemorrhoid but yesterday it was much harder. Just got diagnosed (was expecting to be cut – and relieved) and was sent home to ‘warm compress’ and come back once it was softer. My whole right side (hip to shoulder) is sore and I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks!
Yes. I suffer from the same thing. It has “come and gone” since I was 10 years old. I noticed it after I fell down the stairs with a bowl of apples. (Thought I broke my tail bone)
It has also moved to my groin, where I have it on both sides now. Hot compresses and Neosporin do work to shrink, and or bring the boil to a head to burst on it’s own, or you can have it surgically done. I’d opt for it to burst on it’s own. Mine was about the size of a golf ball, but healed on it’s own after a few weeks of draining.
hemorrhoid abscess
There are various home remedies for sinus pain pressure which can be used to good effect to give some pain relief. However, very often, it can prove to be a difficult condition to eradicate altogether. Many people look to treating chronic sinusitis naturally after having tried literally years of antibiotic and over the counter treatment.
Sinusitis is a very common infection, affecting over 15 million people each year. Out of these, a number will suffer from acute sinusitis, which is a short-lived one off infection which will either go away on its own or with the help of some supportive home or over the counter remedies. For others though, the situation can be very different. When the condition lasts for over 30 days, it is known as chronic sinusitis. There is no one exact cause of chronic sinusitis, although many doctors believe it commonly develops after a viral infection or a severe allergy. It can also be hereditary, with many sufferers having a parent who has had sinusitis and the reason for this is unclear. Some people are thought to be particularly sensitive to environmental pollutants and this could well be a cause in a minority of cases. More rarely, people with a tooth abscess can develop infection of the sinuses if the bacteria migrates into the sinuses.
Sinuses consist of a network of hollow cavities which surround the bones of the nose and face. Normally, they are completely hollow and clear. However, when sinusitis develops, these fill with fluid and pus and become obstructed. This can cause intense pain in the forehead and around the eye area which is often worse when leaning forward. Some sufferers will also have a generalized headache and soreness around the eyes, caused by a bacterial infection. Chronic sinusitis sufferers are also likely to have a postnasal drip and difficulty distinguishing smells.
If you have tried antibiotics, you will already know that their use in treating chronic sinusitis is very limited. Indeed this is a condition where home remedies for sinus pain pressure can be much more effective.
The following tips may help in treating chronic sinusitis naturally
* Drink plenty of hot drinks and soups as keeping hydrated can help thin the mucous. In addition, the gentle steam as you are drinking can help to loosen the solid mucous
* Try inhaling over a bowl of boiling water with a towel over your head to make a “tent”
* Apply a moist, hot flannel directly to the face for a few minutes. The moist heat will help
* Consider buying a simple humidifier to keep the air moist. Alternatively, allow air to freely circulate at home and keep bowls of water close to heat sources
* Saline drops which you can buy from a pharmacy have been shown to help a little. They will not do any harm so are worth trying
* Take great care when blowing your nose. Blow gently and keep both nostrils open
These self help tips may help give some relief although unless the infection is mild, they are unlikely to effect a full cure.
However, there is a recipe for a sinus nasal spray for treating chronic sinusitis naturally which guarantees that you will eradicate your sinusitis within just a day or so. Using just 4 ingredients, this works by quickly targeting the infection and symptoms. Imagine-you too could be completely pain-free simply by using this one simple remedy.

hemorrhoids symptoms itching
Hemorrhoid pain may last for hours after the bowels have moved. People who need treatment often have the sensation of a lump, or a feeling that a lot of small sharp sticks are inside the rectum, poking them. Pain, itching and burning, especially following bowel evacuation, are common symptoms of Hemorrhoids. Complications, such as bleeding and thromboses, can also occur. Pain and burning when passing stools, stabbing pains, wetness and itching. Incorrect passing of stools and discomfort when sitting.
Painful and inflamed Hemorrhoids may subside. By strengthening and toning the body’s veins, as well as actually lessening swelling and fluid retention in the body, the Hemorrhoids (a swollen vein itself) will be more likely to recede. Pain and problems occur when these veins are stretched and tear under pressure. Treatment is always encouraged before this point.
Constipation is often the culprit because when we try too hard, for too long on a daily basis, to have a bowel movement, the veins in our anus can pop out. Hemorrhoids do tend to shrink when pressure is off, but daily straining can make them continually protrude, bleed and hurt. Constipation is common in women in general and particularly a problem for pregnant women. Constipation is oftentimes the main cause of Hemorrhoids.
Constipation combined with the increased pressure on the rectum and perineum is the primary reason that women experience hemorrhoids. Prolonged standing may also be a factor contributing to hemorrhoids. External hemorrhoids may be accompanied by painful clotting. This is thrombosed hemorrhoids.
Pregnant women often get hemorrhoids because of the strain from carrying the baby and from giving birth. For most women, such hemorrhoids are a temporary problem. Pregnant women frequently have problems with both hemorrhoids and constipation. In the last trimester of pregnancy, the enlarged uterus pressing on blood vessels in the anal area can cause hemorrhoids.
External hemorrhoids, however, are commonly associated with pain and itching as well as bleeding. Thus, most of the approximately 500,000 Americans who seek medical treatment for hemorrhoids each year are afflicted with the external type of the swollen veins. External hemorrhoids involve the veins outside the anus. They can be itchy or painful and can sometimes crack and bleed. External hemorrhoids may also be noticed by the presence of a small skin tag protruding from the anus or of a bulging vein type protrusion around the anus.
External hemorrhoids treatment comes in the form of natural and non-invasive methods, such as Venapro, and is known to be as effective as medical treatments in most cases. One common alternative method is using herbs such as Japanese pagoda tree extracts, butcher’s broom, and horse chestnut, nicely complimented with dietary supplements that strengthen vein walls. Chronically painful or bleeding hemorrhoids may need to be treated with banding or surgery. Consult your physician with questions or problems. Chronic diarrhea is another culprit. Fortunately, though, self-care measures such as Venapro and other lifestyle changes often effectively treat or prevent this problem.

Need the information fast? Then GO HERE to read the H Miracle website for further information.
Holly Hayden, and independent researcher, columnist, and a respected figure in her particular discipline, wrote the hemorrhoid miracle system (also known as h-miracle). With her H Miracle system, Holly has created a program that has helped thousands of hemorrhoid sufferers across the world deal and overcome this too common problem. It’s not hard to believe what she says about hemorrhoids being “curable,” however, it is hard to believe that her remedies are all natural and don’t require any surgeries or overpriced ointments.
We got our hands on Holly’s system to find out what all the buzz was about. Our H-Miracle Review will explore the program’s effectiveness and compare it to the program’s claims.
What We Found
Holly’s method is straight forward and stimulating. The way she communicates to the reader through her writing makes the reading easy, down to earth, and can be read in a few short sittings. She has packaged her own research data with her own personal experiences and has created a system to help hemorrhoid sufferers get back to living a hemorrhoid-free lifestyle.
However, you must understand that in the world of hemorrhoids, being free from hemorrhoids or cured means that the hemorrhoids that are currently giving you trouble will shrink up and no longer bother you. By using the techniques Holly describes, such as the all natural ingredients and her emphasis on a proper diet and the correct lifestyle change, the H-Miracle system is bound to work for anyone who follows her advice step by step to stop the hemorrhoids from obstructing daily life and also will help to prevent hemorrhoids from ever coming back again.
Eagle-Eye View of the Hemorrhoid Miracle System
During our evaluation of the H-Miracle System we found some interesting gold nuggets including:
* Numerous home remedies and treatment advice that instruct you on how to relieve, shrink, and also prevent hemorrhoids. Some of these remedies even include Chinese methods of treating hemorrhoids, and surprisingly many other ways of dealing with the condition.
* Natural ways of healing and preventing hemorrhoids in a safe manner
* An explanation of why many of the over the counter remedies including preparation H are not really producing the results claimed and the reasons why these remedies can only temporarily deal with the problem but never actually get to the heart of the problem
* A rather out of the box way of using common vinegar to stop hemorrhoid bleeding
* Various ideas of natural astringent and antiseptics – these will help relieve the itching, swelling and pain.
* A chapter that deeply analyses a variety of natural tablets and pills that, if taken properly, can stop bleeding right there and then, as well as natural capsules and suppositories that provide fast comfort
* Helpful advice on how to get the most out of witch hazel and butcher broom
* A plethora of herbal remedies
Those were simply a few of the many powerful methods included in the system. Keep in mind that in order to get results you will have to take action. Otherwise, it’s a no brainer.
Because of the great amount of remedy ideas included in the program, if you can’t find one that works for your specific needs we think that there’s a chance that no other home treatment will; however, after going through the guide, we think there is something everyone can benefit from.
The H Miracle System is by far the most complete and yet short and sweet guide on natural methods of healing, relieving, preventing, and getting rid of hemorrhoids once and for all.
Contrary to what might be expected, the guide doesn’t just touch upon hemorrhoid relief. Fortunately, Holly also discusses ways to prevent future hemorrhoids. She actually gives step-by-step advice. Now this is something that all hemorrhoid sufferers will find useful. Her advice on this part mainly focuses on avoiding the veins from swelling or having to struggle. According to Holly, this is one of the most powerful ways to prevent further hemorrhoids. Proper diet and a healthy lifestyle are two other important topics she examines.
While Holly is very up front and gives you all the facts, she also makes it plain that in order for you to get rid of hemorrhoids once and for all you will need to make essential changes to your diet and lifestyle. She thoroughly explains, step by step, these necessary changes and how to make these transitions easier for you.

hemorrhoid itchy
Among the most uncomfortable and embarrassing of health issues are hemorrhoids. They may only be temporary, but they are occasionally difficult to deal with and can often lead to larger or more serious problems, such as infection.
Anyone with hemorrhoids knows that there are obvious symptoms of their presence, and it is a good idea to know how to treat hemorrhoids naturally because there isn’t a lot that a medical professional can do to resolve the issue. First, it is a good idea to know why hemorrhoids form in the first place. They occur both internally and externally around the anus and rectum. They are simply swollen veins that cause a lump or protrusion of tissue, but this is often very uncomfortable, itchy and painful.
One of the first ways to treat hemorrhoids naturally is to remember that straining to pass a bowel movement will only make them worse, and if after more than three to five minutes in the bathroom has not produced a bowel movement it is best to prevent further damage by waiting and trying again later. Additionally, strain can also occur from heavy lifting, inadequate exercise or prolonged sitting and from obesity. This means that gentle activities such as walking or swimming can help to reduce the frequency and symptoms and are often how to treat hemorrhoids naturally.
Of course the diet of the individual will also help with hemorrhoid symptoms, and most doctors suggest nothing less than eight cups of water should be consumed each day. Also, it is important to consider the effects of fiber in the diet of those with hemorrhoids as this helps to make stools pass easier due to the large amount of water that is held by the fiber.
Anyone who wants to know how to treat hemorrhoids naturally will also want to investigate natural supplements such as psyllium, Butcher’s Broom and White Oak Bark, but should also speak with their regular physician before introducing them into the diet.
