relief for hemorrhoids please??
I haven't been to the doctor yet but for a week now I've had a sore bottom and a little bit of blood every now and then. I have had before about 6 months ago when i found out i was pregnant. (miscarried though) I also have had it once still. But both times I was a little embarrased to ask anyone what it was. but this time I spoke to my mother about it and she said it sounds like hemorrhoids. I did go get some cream for it and been eating a few kiwifruit to help pass my food. but its been a week since i got it. How long do you normally have them for? and it there anything at all i can do to help?
As for how long one can have a hemorrhoid for everyone is different. I had one once that cleared up after a week of using a cream for it. I have had another one that has lasted for several years but I found that doing a special kind of bath called a sitz bath can help with controlling the hemorrhoid. This hemorrhoid also caused me a bit of bleeding.
A sitz bath is a special kind of bath that you can do either in the tub or a special pan that goes on the toilet filled with water and something like baking soda where you sit and soak the area a few times a day. It can help shrink the hemorrhoid.
