What is the best way to deal with anal haemorrhoids?
A friend is worried about the recurrent pain he feels after defecating. He tells me that he even bleeds sometimes.
This occured since after he had a surgery to remove his haemorrhoids instead of taking another less painful option. He’s been asking me for advice as he’s a bit shy to visit the doctor on that, I told him I’d post this for answers from professionals or those who have gone through a similar condition and overcome it.
Would it help if he used Anusol? Would it permanently get rid of the softness/thinness in his rectum and strengthen the walls?
Doctors? Experienced persons?
Please drop a word?
If he has been to hospital and had the operation to remove these then nothing will be more embarrassing than that , and he certainly did the right thing by having the op
I would suggest that perhaps his diet needs to be changed and increase roughage and fluid (water)
yes creams like anusol can relieve discomfort and pain , and he should make sure he cleans the area every day when in the shower to prevent infection
But really he does need to go back to his doctor and explain that although he has had the operation he is still feeling discomfort and pain , he really needs an expert to give the advice after looking at the area
