military hemorrhoids
MEPS question..sorry its kind of gross...?
This is part of your body so people with stupid/ignorant responses I'll just ignore you so don't waste your/my time OK? I got hemorrhoids having my child 18 months ago. I've never been to a Dr for them, they dont bleed, hurt, cause any kind of aggrivation...they are just kind of there. My recruiter told me to play the dumb card b/c if I admit to having them MEPS will make me have Dr notes(which I dont have cause I've never had an issue with them and also have no insurance to go to a Dr) I am kind of torn as to what to do, I've always wanted to be in the Army, I'm very physically fit(can do everything to pass the PT already) and I want this to better my life and serve my country. Will MEPS DQ me if they are there when I go, or will they just make me see one of their Docs? I read the Military Standard and all it says is large and/or painful. Anyone have any insight before I make a huge mistake and screw it up for myself?? Thanks...
Play dumb. The MEPs examiner will find out because they have you drop your underwear and bent over to check your anus. If he touches it, do not squirm. If he asks you if you have any pain or anything tell him no. He may let you get away with it if he sees that it's not causing a problem for you. The worst that could happen is them tell you to go to the doctor and have them checked out, then you may need a note saying that you are fine.
