hemroids hard
This is kind of gross but.....?
is anyone else having problems with hemroids already? I'm 36 weeks and my stool is very hard due to the fact that I have to take so much iron because I'm anemic. I have a hemroid already and I want to try to make it smaller because I know after labor it's going to be huge from pushing. Any suggestions on products that work well?
It is normal to get hemorroids during pregnancy even without the bowel trouble. The baby puts all kinds of pressure on your insides. You could definitely ask your Dr. He will probably tell you that you need to be using a stool softener like ducosate sodium or something similar. You could try sitz baths, or even the good old fashion hemorroid cream. Tucks pads will help with pain and inflammation also. (I loved them) They are also wonderful if you end up with an episiotomy. If nothing else make sure you ask your OB, they can give you even more suggestions.
