hemroid or cyst
What could this be?
I've noticed a painful...lump or something down there, and am at a loss as to what it could be. It's not a sore, or anything that i've heard about before, you can't see it at all. It hurts only if pressure is applied, and it seems to be a hard lump under the skin. you can feel it to the touch, but its not visible, the skin is not shiny, red, irritated, or anything. I don't see how it could be any kind of std because for one, it doesn't look like anything i've heard of, and also, i just got a pap smear done and it came back normal. I think i may have had one before, but it was closer to my anus, so i assumed it was a hemroid, and it went away in a week. it feels the same though, so i don't think its a cyst or tumer or anything, because it will probably go away on its own. I just started the Depo shot birth control a few days ago, could this be a symptom of that? has anyone expieranced anything like this before, please any information is helpful. thankyou
You should go to the doctor, as a cancer survivor, anytime I hear of weird lumps I say "Get them checked ASAP!!"
It could be a cyst and really that's what it sounds like. They do go away, depending on the kind of cyst.
Just be safe and go to the doctor.
