Don't burst your hemorrhoid. It's a vein. That means it could bleed a lot and will be open to infection. Read my story or directly to the sites I've linked below.
After a procedure to relieve me from a 15mm stone in my right kidney in February, I decided to eliminate fast food, tea & coffee from my diet. I started to eat more fruit, grains and vegetables. I've been drinking water, ginseng tea, juices and occasionally Horlicks, and hot chocolate.
Well a few weeks ago my bowel movements increased from once a day to three times a day and caused a hemorrhoid which was very uncomfortable to say the least. I went to the hosp. Doctor had a look and prescribed Anusol Suppositories.
A few days later I worked out. I warmed-up, stretched briefly and then performed two circuits using weights. Exercises included squats, sit-ups, push-ups, curls, flys, one arm rows, followed by a cool down.
Immediately after my work out I needed to use the toilet. When I finished I noticed blood on the tissue which I did not expect.
When we begin exercise our blood pressure increases momentarily, especially during Resistance training. A thorough warm-up is essential to reduce this effect. This increased pressure may expand the hemorrhoid and cause bleeding.
Since this very uncomfortable experience with a hemorrhoid I have cut back on muesli. Now I soak it overnight so that the grains and nuts are easier to digest.
Hope is not a strategy, so I'll finish off with the following; think, eat and exercise smart and choose the one of the most trusted online resources below.
