hemorrhoid treatment, is it possible without surgery?

i dont have blood or mucous discharge but after pooping, my butt itches, it sometimes burns and i feel pins and needle type of pain..after a bowel movement there is some leakage of feces, that is a symptom of hemorrhoid according to mayoclinic..i want to know if hemorrhoid can be cured without surgery? If so, which medicine is the best? I dont want to temporary relief, i want to get rid of hemorrhoids completely..and is there any bad effect of medicine, if i dont have hemorrhoids, if something else is causing the discomfort?

Hi Numair,

Hemorrhoids can indeed be treated without invasive surgery! In most cases, the best treatment for hemorrhoids is an improved diet. You want to ensure that you are consuming enough fiber and water on a daily basis (This will help prevent constipation) Straining during a bowel movement is believed to be one of the main causes of hemorrhoids.

Safe to pop thrombosed hemorrhoid?

If I couldn’t afford a doctor due to no insurance, is it safe to pop a thrombosed hemorrhoid so I can get back to work? It seems like that would give instant relief.

Don’t do it. I just came from the emergency room for this very thing. The doc numbs the area first, then lances it. If you try it yourself you’ll probably pass out from the pain.

How do I relieve a large and painful hemorrhoid ?

I have tried Preparation H and TUCKS with little relief. Is there anything else I can do at home to
take away the pain?

Buttermilk – Taking butter mixed with ground caraway seeds and salt is also very useful in hemorrhoids. Rock salt is considered more effective than common salt. This should be taken at the end of the meal. In fact, t is ascertained, that piles treated with buttermilk do not even reappear. In case of bleeding piles, mix a teaspoon of grounded and roasted cumin seeds instead of caraway seeds. Take this mixture of rock salt, cumin seeds in a glass of buttermilk at least four times in a day to see fantastic results.

Anyone who does a lot of sitting needs to do some standing as well. If you are tied to your desk most of the time, take at least a 5-minute walk every hour or so. This will ease the rectal pressure that leads to hemorrhoids.

Avoid prolonged sitting in the toilet and also don’t scratch the affected area at all. This will aggravate the problem. Also, reply to nature’s call at the earliest.

A warm water dip of your bottom in a tub will help you a lot in relieving the pain and increasing the blood flow to the affected area.

Holistic and natural hemorrhoids treatments are quite effective in easing discomfort. Treatment of hemorrhoids includes herbal and homeopathic remedies which contain natural ingredients and are gentle to use without the risk of dependence.

Herbs such as Aloe ferox act as a natural stool softener and are a gentle remedy for constipation, which is what causes hemorrhoids quite often. Aloe is also widely recommended for inflammatory digestive disorders. Taraxacum officinale (Dandelion) contains bitter principles which have a beneficial effect on the liver and digestive system. In addition, Passiflora incarnata is one of nature’s most well-regarded carminitives, and helps to provide hemorrhoids relief and ease muscle tension in the bowel.

There are also many herbs well known for their beneficial effect on circulation, including Ginkgo biloba, Cratageous oxycanthus, and Gotu cola, while herbal creams can assist with the itching, inflammation, and hemorrhoids relief. Always remember to obtain your natural medicines from a reputable company to ensure maximum safety and efficacy.

what could it be if your passing stools with blood?

I have seen my GP and he said I have to do a stool sample. Could this be hemorrhoids or food poisoning? I was in allot of pain and constipation, and have been taking Bucopan for the relief of IBS for the spasms. I am 30 years old and have never had this before.
It’s not HIV I do not do drugs or needles and anything else like anal sex. So imposable for it to be HIV LOL
And I only bleed twice.

You probably don’t go to the bathroom everyday so your poop gets harder while its inside of you also because you say you get constipated so try eating some cereal and it’ll help, get that good stuff cereal works its magic aaaaall the time

hey ladies i am 37 weeks with hemorrhoids wow does ot hurt..what should i use for relief?? o yea is this norm?

I know you said hey ladies but….

• Apply an ice pack (with a soft covering) to the affected area several times a day. Ice may help decrease swelling and discomfort. Some women find cold compresses saturated with witch hazel to be soothing.

• Soak your bottom in warm water, in a tub or a sitz bath. A sitz bath is small plastic basin that you fill with water and position over your toilet, allowing you to submerge your rectal area simply by sitting down.

• Try alternating cold and warm treatments. Start with an ice pack followed by a warm sitz bath.

• Gently but thoroughly clean the affected area after each bowel movement using soft, unscented, white toilet tissue, which causes less irritation than colored, scented varieties. Moistening the tissue can help, too. Many women find using pre-moistened wipes more comfortable than using toilet tissue. You can buy medicated wipes (such as Tucks) made specifically for people with hemorrhoids.

• Ask your healthcare practitioner to recommend a safe topical anesthetic or medicated suppository. There are many hemorrhoid-relief products on the market, but consult your practitioner before trying one on your own. Most of these products should be used for a short course of treatment only (a week or less). Continued use can cause even more inflammation.

If your own preventive and relief efforts don’t help — or if you notice bleeding — consult your doctor or midwife.

suffering from external hemorrhoid pain…! help me !!?

i am 18 years old and iam having external hemorrhoid ..its paining a lot though iam applying external cream help me for relief …!

You have to sit in a nice warm bath. You might want to drink lots of fluids for a while and try to eat things that don’t make you strain. Your hemorrhoids are bothering you because you need to use stool softener. When your stool passes it scrapes along those hemorrhoids. Also make sure you switch up your toilet paper. You don’t want anything else to irritate you back there. I haven’t actually had these problems but if you use cream it’s a mess and it oozes out anyway. Also your going to make sure you have extra cushion when you go to sit down.
