I've had my first external hemorrhoid for about 3 days now, it started to get better to where it didn't bother me as much. Once I was done using the restroom I wiped and found blood. You need to see his doctor! I suffer from those nasty things and it's not fun. In the meantime, use some aquaphor to help soothe and lube the area....also I think witch hazel would e safe for an infant but you'd have to check...that is something used to treat them...

My mom bought me special hemorrhoid wipes to use if I feel itchy or uncomfortable "down there." I wipe and it usually burns, so it's not out of the ordinary. However, I wiped tonight and it burned SO BAD that I said, "Ow!!" I looked at the wipe and it had some blood on it. Why are my hemorrhoids bleeding? Is this normal?
